Rosa Mexicano’s new NYC location needed a reliable, easy-to-manage tech foundation to support daily operations without disrupting the design aesthetic. Techmenity delivered a full low-voltage package — from security to audio — while coordinating closely with the architecture and design team to keep all equipment concealed and the space visually clean and ready for a flawless Grand Opening on September 10, 2025.

Key Objectives
- Support busy front- and back-of-house operations with stable networking and POS connectivity
- Create a flexible audio environment for different zones (bar, dining, private dining, etc.)
- Provide security and access control without visible hardware
- Ensure full WiFi coverage for staff systems and guest areas
- Deliver a clean installation that aligns with the design team’s vision
What We Delivered
Security & Access Control
- Surveillance system covering all high-traffic and sensitive areas
- Access control for staff-only zones to streamline operations and reduce risk
- Discreet placement of devices to maintain the restaurant’s high-end aesthetic
Audio System — 10 Zones
- Custom-tuned audio across 10 independent zones
- Volume and source flexibility based on time of day and guest flow
- Equipment concealed in back-of-house areas to keep the dining spaces visually clean
Structured Cabling & Networking
- Cabling backbone for POS terminals, kitchen printers, TVs, and staff computers
- Network designed for stability during peak service hours
- Clean rack build and cable management to simplify future maintenance
WiFi Heat-Mapping & Optimization
- Heat-mapping to identify dead zones and ensure consistent coverage
- Placement of access points to support mobile ordering, POS mobility, and staff communication
Collaboration with Architects & Designers
- Early coordination to route conduits and conceal devices
- Equipment placements reviewed with the design team to protect the aesthetic
- Delivered a tech foundation that complements — not competes with — the interior design
